Our Committee Leaders

  • Rianna Hartney-Smith

    President

I joined Tugun Theatre back when I was 16. Since then, I have been heavily involved in many productions from being onstage, backstage, front of house and even directing. I first joined the committee around 2014. Through that time I have been in various positions such as general committee, Secretary, Vice President and now President. I am thrilled to be a representative of such a warm and welcoming theatre and I hope that everyone else who walks through our doors feels just as at home as I do!

  • Cecile Campbell

    Vice President

Cee has been a member of Tugun Theatre for over 15 years. For a few years she has served on the committee as an ordinary member, Secretary and is currently the Vice President. She is a highly experienced actor and director, having worked in Sydney, northern NSW, Gold Coast and Brisbane. She also appears in television commercials and film. Her main ''job'' is working out with her demanding personal trainer - a very active chocolate Labrador who ensures she does not slack off.

  • Judy Neumann

    Secretary

Judy Neumann was born in the USA, but has lived in Australia for many years. Relocating from Sydney to the Gold Coast a decade ago, she initially worked at another theatre, both as an actress and committee member. Since she discovered Tugun Theatre in 2018, she has concentrated her efforts here, on acting, directing and joining the management committee. She has recently taken on the role of Theatre Secretary. Judy loves the nice people, buzzy atmosphere and loyal patrons of Tugun Theatre Company.

  • Brock Honnery

    Treasurer

  • Peta Schulz

    Assistant Treasurer

Peta Schulz joined Tugun Theatre Company in 2014, and since then has been on stage in shows such as “How the Other Half Loves”, “Over my Dead body”, “Wait until Dark”, “The Uninvited”, “The Naked Truth”, “Pins and Needles”, “Prince Leonardo – The Late” and a last minute foray in to “Twist”. She had also tried her hand at lighting a time or two! She joined the Tugun Theatre Committee as the Treasurer in 2021 and strives to keep the books in order! When not doing theatre, she is currently working in the finance field and completing her Bachelor of Accounting.

  • Emma Andrews

    Committee Member

After being a faithful patron of the Tugun Theatre Company since 2013, and performing in the 2022 production of “Crimes of the Heart”, I chose to join the committee to be involved in all the aspects of this incredible company. I am looking forward to being a part of the ongoing team bringing to life incredible stories through live theatre, and hopefully joining them on stage again soon!

  • Nathan Schulz

    Committee Member

Nathan has been involved with Tugun Theatre Company as an actor & director since 2010. Previous shows at Tugun he directed were “Twist”, “The Naked Truth”, “Bullshot Crummond “ and “Play it again, Sam”.
